Next week’s family dinner is special for two reasons:
- It’s on a Tuesday - February 2nd. Sadly, Baraka is closed on Mondays. But trust me, this one is worth waiting an extra day.
- It will be limited to SIX seats. I’ve always been about small groups, so let’s see what happens.
Bakara Cafe is a small Algerian-Tunisian diner in Central Square.
North African food is pretty hard to come by on the Standard American Diet (SAD). But remembering our experiences with Moroccan, I’m excited to sample a neighboring country.
Baraka’s rose petal lemonade is somewhat famous on Yelp. Other menu items such as the stews and the naan (bread) stand in reviews. Think Mediterranean + bolder spices. Vegetarian friendly.
To get there, you want to take the Red Line or 1 Bus to Central Square. Baraka is a short walk down Pearl Street.

Again:
- Tuesday Feb. 2 – 7pm
- Only six tickets
Feel free to message me with any questions. Hope to see you there!
