#FamilyDinner – Algerian Lemonade at Baraka Cafe

Algerian Lemonade

Next week’s family dinner is special for two reasons:

  1. It’s on a Tuesday - February 2nd. Sadly, Baraka is closed on Mondays. But trust me, this one is worth waiting an extra day.
  2. It will be limited to SIX seats. I’ve always been about small groups, so let’s see what happens.

Bakara Cafe is a small Algerian-Tunisian diner in Central Square.

North African food is pretty hard to come by on the Standard American Diet (SAD). But remembering our experiences with Moroccan, I’m excited to sample a neighboring country.

Baraka’s rose petal lemonade is somewhat famous on Yelp. Other menu items such as the stews and the naan (bread) stand in reviews. Think Mediterranean + bolder spices. Vegetarian friendly.

To get there, you want to take the Red Line or 1 Bus to Central Square. Baraka is a short walk down Pearl Street.

Again:

  • Tuesday Feb. 2 – 7pm
  • Only six tickets

Feel free to message me with any questions. Hope to see you there!
