Pokin' Holes – Co-Working Space in Boston
Well… we had a blast this past Thursday doing a pilot/test show for Pokin’ Holes. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to be there due to a very eventful graduation in Rochester, NY (check out what made it eventful at my personal blog) but Jake picked up the slack and moderated the discussion for me. Yeah I know, I dropped the ball on the very first show, I need to work on my planning.
We are trying to figure out the most productive and efficient way to produce Pokin’ Holes so we are looking to emulate some of our favorite shows like the ‘Diane Rehm Show‘ with Diane Rehm, ‘TWiT‘ with Leo Laporte, ‘On Point‘ with Tom Ashbrook and ‘Morning Joe‘ with Joe Scarborough (please don’t judge me because of my viewing and listening tastes).
For the pilot we had 3 guests: Wayne Franklin from OfficeLAB and Urban Sun Investments, Jay Neely from Social Strategist and Aaron O’Hearn from Initial Advantage who all are involved with co-working spaces or co-working space start-up projects.
For this being our first attempt at a moderated style show I think it wen pretty well. We definitely have some takeaways from the experience but all in all the conversation went well and we are working on getting the audio up for the podcast right now so we can everyone’s feedback.
As for the content and overall opinion of the conversation, I am going to let Jake comment on it as he was much more involved than I.
I’ll have this coming week’s show topic up soon. I am really looking forward to bringing the young entrepreneur community of Boston together to help one another with one another’s start-up ideas. I hope to see some serious execution taking place this summer!
